How to Clean Marble Shower Walls

Marble is a popular shower option found in many luxury homes, as marble is classy and elegant -- and also expensive. This makes it important to clean the marble shower walls in the best possible way, as you want to protect the expensive investment you've chosen to add to your home.

Clean marble shower walls with stone cleaner.

When cleaning the shower, use mild cleaners that break apart the soap scum and buildup that accumulates through regular use of the shower but will also be safe for the marble shower walls.

  • Spray a stone cleaner onto the marble shower walls, and wipe it off with a wet sponge. Do this weekly.

  • Dry the shower walls with a towel to prevent water spots from developing.

  • Fill a spray bottle with 1 tbsp. dish soap and 2 cups warm water when the stone cleaner does not remove all of the soap scum.

  • Spray this mixture onto the shower walls, wipe off with a wet sponge and dry with a towel. Use the soap mixture every few months, or as needed when the stone cleaner won't clean to your liking.
