How to Hang a Terrarium From the Ceiling
A terrarium is a small, mostly enclosed environment for plants or reptiles. There are a few variations of terrariums, one of which is the hanging terrarium. The hanging terrarium is particularly useful for housing tropical plants, or air plants.
Like its name implies, it hangs from a wall or ceiling, and is designed as much for aesthetics as it is for practicality. To properly hang a terrarium, you must choose one with a loop on its top.
Choose an area of your house that gets plenty of sunlight to hang your terrarium.
Search for solid wooden beams in your walls or ceiling with a stud finder. Mark the stud with a pencil.
Put on your goggles. Drill a hole into the ceiling in the area that you marked with pencil.
Insert the screw hook into the hole and screw it in by hand until it's securely fastened to the ceiling.
Hang your chain from the ceiling hook. Thread an S hook on the hanging end of the chain.
Thread the S hook through the loop on the top of the terrarium. Your terrarium should now be hanging, and ready for plant growth.
