Ugly stains ruin the appearance of beautiful tile floors.

  • Soak a cloth in diluted bleach and lay it on top of ink and dye stains until the stain is lifted.

  • Scrub iodine with diluted ammonia and be sure to rinse well. Scrub Mercurochrome with diluted beach.

  • Dissolve nail-polish stains on tile with nail-polish remover. If a little bit of the stain is left behind, dab it with hydrogen peroxide or diluted bleach.
